The executive director is hands off to a fault so project directors and middle management act with impunity. We stand in solidarity yesterday today and always. The urban justice center was pleased to host a traveling exhibition by the bronx photo league entitled the jerome avenue workers project this exhibition documented and celebrated the workers and trades people of jerome avenue one of new york city s few remaining working class neighborhoods where many still make a living in small.

We know this violence is deeply rooted in the systems of white supremacy and anti black racism upon which this country was founded and it must end. The domestic violence project opens its doors to individuals and families escaping abuse. At the urban justice center we have many ways for interested folks to get involved with our work.
