Uneven Roof Ridge

Worn or deteriorated roof covering materials occasionally loosen from their fasteners and lift away from the roof which creates an uneven appearance.

Having an uneven ridge line would by no means cause any leaks any leaks could be caused by how well the ridges were mucked on or the felt beneath the tiles having any holes tears in. Roof shingles are not lying flat. Sometimes an uneven roof is simply a sign of minor errors or aberrations in construction. Exposure to wind rain and sun further deteriorates the roof coverings often resulting in shingles or roof panels that appear to be peeling off of the structure. They give the roof a finished look while forming a protective seal.
