Three tretford carpet colours are made using undyed goat hair. The majority of tretford colours are solid including chilli jonquille brilliant blue orange squash and lettuce leaf. Fusion bonded construction allows clean precise cuts in any direction for borders insets and graphics. It is collected once a year and subsequently sorted and gently washed.

And this differs in color and texture from animal to animal. Cashmere goat hair is a natural fiber. Others are blends like deep purple russet dapple grey and mushroom which have particularly good soil hiding characteristics. Dapple grey and double cream are the natural colours of the goat while silver birch is a blend of both.
