Totalboat polyester laminating resin was engineered without wax in order to enable a tack to hold composites in place even vertically.

This economical laminating resin is ideal for first or base coat applications. Without wax this resin remains tacky to hold fiberglass fabric in place on vertical surfaces. Its viscosity is ideal for wetting out fiberglass mat and cloth. This product is pre promoted for curing at room temperature with the addition of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide mekp catalyst.

Wet sand and buff to a glossy finish or sand paint or gelcoat over. Because it contains wax totalboat polyester finishing resin is typically used for one coat glasswork or as a final tack free sealer coat over tacky polyester laminating resin coats. Laminating resin is excellent for saturating fiberglass fabrics. Needs no sanding between coats.

Mekp methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst included. Totalboat polyester laminating resin will not cure on its own in direct contact with air. Great for wet out of fiberglass and other composites when building or fixing boats surfboards automotive molds and other molds. It contains no wax to prevent creation of an oxygen barrier that would cause it to cure so it stays tacky and won t sag while you re building up layers.

Unlike many other laminating resins no sanding is required between coats decreasing work and time.
